Responding to questions on the Cyprus issue, Gordon stated that direct talks between the two communities offer the "best prospects" for progress, but noted a delay in resolving issues of property and security. In reference to negotiations with FYROM, he underlined that the Greek government is committed to improving stability in the region and called for a "win-win" resolution in the name issue.
