The Embassy of Greece, (Cultural Counselor) is launching a series of lectures on scientific areas of interest to the broader public. This lecture will explore ways and means to enable and empower knowledge sharing in a global and local context. It will expand in both developing and developed economies looking for intangible cultural safeguarding, as well as, economic competitiveness, challenges and opportunities.
Dr. Elias G. Carayannis is Professor of Science, Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Information Systems and Technology Management Department of the School of Business at the George Washington University. He is also co-founder and co-director of the Global and Entrepreneurial Finance Research Institute (GEFRI) and Director of Research on Science, Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the European Union Research Center (EURC) of the School of Business at the George Washington University in Washington, DC.
Ms. Denisa Popescu is a doctoral candidate at the School of Business of the George Washington University and her research focuses on Knowledge Transfer and Sharing under the supervision of Professor Carayannis. She is also an information analyst with the Information Solutions Group of the World Bank and provides technical support to the development of the Country Gateway portals on content and technology policy and practice issues.
