Foreign Minister Stavros Lambrinidis is currently on a visit to Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon (October 12- 14). The Minister is accompanied by a delegation from the National Council on Foreign Policy, the Secretary General for International Economic Relations and Development Cooperation, the Foreign Ministry’s Secretary General, and representatives of business community institutional agencies.

While in Cairo, Lambrinidis held talks with the Secretary General of the Arabian League, Nabil El Araby and expressed Greece’s firmness to pursue the solution of a sustainable Palestinian state which will coexist peacefully with the state of Israel. The Minister also met with his Egyptian counterpart and the Alternate Minister for Investments.
