On Monday, 28 January, Foreign Minister Ms. Dora Bakoyannis will be in Brussels, accompanied by Deputy Foreign Minister Mr. Yannis Valinakis, to represent Greece at the EU’s General Affairs and External Relations Council (GAERC). The issues to be addressed by the EU Foreign Ministers include the Middle East peace process, the political situation in Lebanon, developments in Pakistan, and developments in Africa, with emphasis on Kenya, Sudan and Chad. During the luncheon, the discussion will focus on the Western Balkans and Iran, while an EU troika-Serbia meeting will take place on the margins of the Council.
