Consul General Konstantin Bikas met at the offices of the Consulate General with the Presidents and members of the Board of Boston area Greek student associations, within the framework of their ongoing cooperation. Representatives from MIT, Harvard University, Boston University, Tufts and Babson College were present.
Among the issues discussed were the progress of the 2004 Athens Olympics promotional project "The spirit of antiquity", the electronic connection of students and associations, the organisation of intra-university cultural events, the progress of the "Greek movies" project and the feasibility of credit recognition between Greek and New England Universities.
Vice Consul Katerina Economou was also present at the meeting.
