National Defense Minister Akis Tsohatzopoulos yesterday met with the commander of NATO's southern wing, US Adm. Joseph Lopez, who was accompanied by the US ambassador in Athens Nicholas Burns.
Adm. Lopez later had meetings with the Chief of the National Defense General Staff, Gen. Athanasios Tzoganis, with whom he discussed issues related to NATO's "Partner-ship for Peace" program.
